Is it suitable for left-handed users?
Yes. Works for both left- and right-handed users.
Why does the lead break easily?
The lead may be extended too far or pressed too hard. Click 2-3 times to extend the lead about 1/3 in (8 mm). If it’s too long, gently push it back in
Will the clay stain?
Under normal use, the clay should not stick to hands or leave noticeable color transfer. However, slight color transfer may occur if your hands are sweaty or if there is water on the work surface.
We recommend using the included activity mat while playing and washing hands after use.
If the clay accidentally gets on clothing or furniture, remove it and clean the area as soon as possible. When treated within a few minutes, it will usually not leave noticeable marks.
Avoid leaving the clay on fabric for several hours or longer. Highly absorbent materials, such as cotton and linen, may absorb the color and could become stained.
Can I paint the clay?
Yes. Once the clay is completely dry, you can use acrylic paint markers or acrylic paints to add colors, details, and decorative designs.
Will the writing disappear? How long does it take?
Yes. The ink is designed to fade automatically. Fading time may vary depending on temperature — warmer conditions make it disappear faster.
What if the pen doesn’t write smoothly?
Try scribbling gently on blank paper a few times to restart the ink flow. If the issue continues, replace the refill.
Can I use other refills?
We do not recommend using other refills. Non-matching refills may not fade, which prevents reuse of the pages.
Can this pen be used for notes or important documents?
No. The ink fades over time. This pen is for handwriting practice only.
Can the static stickers be reused?
Yes! They’re reusable—peel and stick again and again. If they don’t stick well, rinse with clean water and let them air-dry. Tear along the top dotted line to use, then fold along the middle dotted line and store in the zip pouch.
Do I need paint? Will it stain clothes or make a mess?
No paint needed—just fill the water pen with clean water. The color fades as it dries and won’t leave stains. Cleaner than traditional painting, great for both indoor and travel use.
